# MyPTV IPTV Player

> MyPTV is a privacy-first, native IPTV player for Apple (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV), Android (phones, tablets, Android TV, Google TV), Windows PCs, Samsung Smart TVs (Tizen), and LG Smart TVs (webOS). It plays live TV, movies (VOD), and series from the user's own M3U/M3U8 playlists, Xtream Codes API credentials, or Stalker Middleware MAC portals. MyPTV is a media player only and does not provide, host, or sell any IPTV channels or media streams.

MyPTV is designed as a modern, high-performance IPTV Smarters alternative across mobile, desktop, and living-room TV screens:

- **Supported IPTV Protocols**: M3U / M3U8 playlists (remote URL or local file), Xtream Codes API (server URL, username, and password), and Stalker Middleware portals via MAC address authentication.
- **Supported Platforms**: iPhone (iOS), iPad (iPadOS), Mac (macOS), Apple TV (tvOS), Android phones & tablets, Android TV, Google TV, Windows 10 & 11 PCs (Microsoft Store), Samsung Smart TVs (Tizen), and LG Smart TVs (webOS).
- **Core Features**: Live TV with Electronic Programme Guide (EPG), VOD movies & series with cast filmography, channel grouping and favorites, playlist auto-refresh, AirPlay and Google Cast (Chromecast) support, and local-first privacy (playlist URLs and MAC addresses stay on your device).
- **Plans & Pricing Tiers**:
  - **Free**: Unlimited live TV channels, movies & series (with optional ad unlock on mobile), M3U/Xtream/Stalker connections, live EPG, and 1 profile on the device it is installed on. On Samsung Tizen TVs, LG webOS TVs, and Windows PCs the free tier has no ads, and movies & series are included.
  - **Premium**: Ad-free viewing, Cinematic & Classic interfaces, Multiview (up to 4 simultaneous channels), catch-up TV, timeshift & recording, unlimited profiles, and parental lock across the devices of the store it was bought from (Apple App Store or Google Play).
  - **Premium Multi (Cross-platform)**: Everything in Premium across all platforms — including Windows PCs, Samsung Tizen Smart TVs, LG webOS Smart TVs, Apple, and Android together — on up to 5 devices with QR sign-in and cloud channel list sync. Every new MyPTV account gets a free 7-day Premium Multi trial on first sign-in.
- **Smart TV Hardware Note**: Due to TV hardware constraints, Multiview is not available on Samsung Tizen and LG webOS TVs, and timeshift works only on programmes with catch-up (no live buffering); all other Premium features work natively. Windows has the full feature set, Multiview and timeshift included.
